Leading British food manufacturer, providing high quality fresh and frozen fruit products, Place UK, has recently picked Authenticate as the supplier assurance software provider of choice for the technical team.
Supplying leading grocers and working with 100 direct suppliers across 80 product lines and categories spanning pulses, grains, pasta, rice and fruit, the team identified an immediate need to map supply chains for improved visibility, whilst streamlining supplier approval and onboarding processes.
Implementing six Authenticate solutions, supply chain mapping, assessments, certifications, documents, dashboards and ESG supplier performance and risk module, ESGnius, the main priorities identified by the team included:
- Increasing visibility of direct supplier locations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa with mapping
- Automating assurance status checks for schemes including Soil Association, Red Tractor, Sedex, Global GAP and LEAF to maintain standards
- Streamlining annual SAQs by introducing a digital solution
- Centralising key documentation storage and requests for terms and conditions and ethical trading policies
