We were delighted to welcome Andrew Jones, the elected Conservative MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough, to the new Authenticate office in Royal House, in a visit arranged by BVCA (British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association) and one of our partners, Mercia Asset Management, on Tuesday 30th May.
Having previously served as Parliamentary Private Secretary for business to the Minister of State for business and enterprise, Andrew spent the time finding out about Authenticate’s growth plans, our people, and of course the platform to understand how our UK-built technology and services are empowering leading brands around the world with the tools to build transparent, sustainable supply chains.
Speaking of the visit, Andrew Jones said:
“I’ve enjoyed hearing about Authenticate’s growth plans and learning how their technology is used by household brands across countries and continents, not just in the UK. With so many issues affecting supply chains – from environmental impacts to modern slavery risk – it is great to see businesses here in Harrogate making a real difference on a global scale.”
Michael Moore, Director General of the BVCA said:
“The BVCA is delighted to have been able to arrange Andrew’s visit to Authenticate’s new workspace in Harrogate so that he could hear first-hand how investment via private capital can help local businesses realise significant growth. Although only a small team, with support of Mercia Asset Management, Authenticate now provides technology-led supply chain solutions to clients across the globe.”
